About the coffee
The Lima family is one of El Salvador’s long-established coffee-growing families with over a century of experience. Situated on the volcanic slopes near the Santa Ana Volcano, coffee at Finca Lima is grown in rich volcanic soil under native shade trees, creating a stable microclimate that protects the coffee from heat while allowing cherries to ripen more slowly. This lot is processed using the washed method — harvested, depulped, fermented and washed cleanly, then sun-dried on patios for around two to three weeks.
