About the coffee
Rafael Borges began growing coffee with his father, João Divanil, at their family farm Sitio Grota Bonita in the Sul de Minas region of Brazil. Today, Rafael manages the 35 hectare property, dedicating his time to planting new crops and improving infrastructure for higher productivity and better quality coffees. This lot of Red Catuai underwent natural processing, exhibiting lovely hints of fruitiness. Our roasters went with a medium-light omni-profile for this coffee, making it suitable for both espresso and filter brews with an enjoyable profile of prune, milk chocolate and hazelnut.
